Working closely with GE Healthcare’s Washington Office and business teams, Mark directs participation in various government and industry groups, helps define and drive advocacy agendas, and coordinates responses to regulations and legislation. He has provided advice to ONC and CMS in various agency settings and has been active as a leader and participant in numerous health IT-related organizations addressing critical policy issues, such as patient safety and usability, standards and interoperability, value-based payment, delivery system reform, and HIT-related payment incentives.Mark is an elected member of the HIMSS North America Nominating Committee and is Chair Emeritus of the HIMSS Electronic Health Record Association (EHRA).

David Swartout
Owner, Director of Operations
Mountain View Medical Center

Mountain View Medical Center is a growing Family Practice with two locations in Forest Grove and Hillsboro, Oregon.  MVMC is a tier 4 medical home certified by the Oregon Health Authority, and an active participant in Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative (CPC+). Hired in 2008, David is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the clinic as well as the creation and application of office policies and procedures. He also maintains the operational support of health care delivery in order to maximize efficiency and improve patient care while ensuring business profitability. 

 

As a married father of three, David enjoys family activities; he is an avid golfer, and photographer, and enjoys wake-boarding and skiingHe received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management as well as Marketing from Portland State University, and holds a MBA from Colorado State University.



     
Donna Maddox  

Donna Maddox, RN 
Director of Product Management

Donna has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including clinical practice, administration, consulting and technical solution development. Prior to coming to GE Healthcare, Donna worked as a registered nurse in various leadership roles at Barnes-Jewish Hospital where she discovered her love for Healthcare IT. Donna manages the strategy and execution for analytics supporting ambulatory practices, including Quality Payment Programs as defined by CMS.
