Sheila Washburn is the Digital Product Manager for GE Healthcare Magnetic Resonance, where she works to direct and guide new technology development. Sheila has worked for GE Healthcare in Wisconsin for 30 years where she has held various technical and managerial roles within the Magnetic Resonance business since 1992. Areas of expertise within MR include workflow, applications software, image processing, and machine learning. Sheila holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University and Bachelor’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Kristin McLeod
Digital Manager - Cardiovascular Ultrasound

Kristin McLeod manages the digital portfolio of the cardiovascular ultrasound business segment at GE Healthcare, driving partnerships with 3rd party companies, directing AI developments in the business, and leading directions in advanced connectivity via cloud/edge offerings. Kristin, from New Zealand originally and now based in Norway, holds a PhD from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis/INRIA in France, and has been working in advanced development of AI for medical imaging for the past 10 years.

Hye Sun has over 12 years of experience in product development for diagnostic imaging. She holds a biomedical engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine.

Alec Baenen
Senior Product Manager - X-ray AI & Analytics

Alec Baenen is the Senior Product Manager for GE Healthcare X-ray AI & Analytics. Alec began his career with GE Healthcare Global Research in 2008 and has held various leadership roles in clinical research strategy & execution. As part of the team who developed and launched GE X-ray’s Critical Care Suite, he transitioned into product management where he is currently helping lead the digital efforts and product development strategy for X-ray Artificial Intelligence. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison and Villanova University with degrees in Neuroscience, Genetics, and Project Management.

Eugene Liu is a Senior Global Product Manager at GE Healthcare, managing a ~$400M ultra-premium CT portfolio. He has overall responsibility for new product strategy, engineering programs, customer collaboration and business performance. His team has designed and introduced a series of innovations such as TrueFidelity, world’s first FDA-cleared Deep Learning-based CT Image Reconstruction. Eugene graduated with MD degree from Shandong University Medical School in China, and practiced radiology at China MOH Affiliated Beijing Hospital before joining GE.
