Dr. Meenakshi Badade, MD
Radiologist, Chikitsa-Ultrasound Training Centre, Mumbai, India
Dr. Meenakshi Badade is a radiologist at Chikitsa-Ultrasound Training Centre, which has trained over 4,000 postgraduate doctors in ultrasound imaging since it started 15 years ago.
Dr. Badade has been interested in women’s imaging and has participated in several teaching and training courses. In 2021, she started a musculoskeletal-specific ultrasound training course at Chikitsa, helping her students apply the modality in remote parts of India since.
She is an alumnus of the prestigious King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in Mumbai, completing her MD in Radiodiagnosis in 1992. Since then, ultrasound has been her area of specialty.
Bill Medford, RMSKS, RDMS
Owner, MSK Ultrasound, LLC, Seattle, Washington, U.S.
Bill Medford has been a sonographer for over 40 years, with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography® (ARDMS®) credentials in abdomen, OB-GYN and RMSK. He trained at Oregon Health Science Center and began his career at Salem Hospital in 1979. Medford led ultrasound departments in western Oregon for 32 years before joining Sonosite as the lead MSK clinical specialist for nearly 12 years. He now works independently and owns MSK Ultrasound, LLC.
Mr. Medford has taught at the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM), the Andrews Institute and Mayo Clinic MSK U.S. courses. He has served on medical teams for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials and the World Games. He also served as an ARDMS MSK subject matter expert for the RMSKS exam development committee for six years, ending in 2021.
