I routinely use the laser aimer. The aimer stays on, so you can be confident that if you shoot, the image will show what you want to see. This decreases the dose for the patient and for myself as it avoids unnecessary images.

Almost every time, when I press the X-ray button, I get the picture I want.
This is thanks to the laser aimer and to the electronic lock preserving the machine from drifting. Indeed, it makes me more confident in that part of the procedure.
